4. in establishing a relationship with pre-engaged and engaged couples where we can share the tried and true principles and give each couple the tools fora life-long marriage;
5. the divorce rate can be reduced as we share with couples Biblical principles of honor, respect, forgiveness, financial freedom, communication and sexual fulfillment;
6. a difference can be made by preparing couples for the life-long marriage than just preparing for the trendy “wedding day” event;
7. that some pre-marital instruction and guidance is necessary in order for Hammond First Assembly pastors to conduct a wedding ceremony.

With the human quest for quality relationships we see the importance of coming along beside those desiring to be married and those who are married and use this relational opportunity as a gateway to show the fullness and blessings of living a life with Jesus Christ as the foundation.
We want to see a documented decrease in the divorce rate and an increase in fulfilled marriages in and around Hammond, Indiana by sharing, showing and teaching the Godly model for relationships- God, spouse, then children.
We are confident there is total fulfillment in marriage but only a few ever find it. We want to share our resources to show those desiring to get married or who are married how men are to love their wives and women how to respect their husbands in order to obtain and live that fulfilled and purposeful life using the tried and true Biblical principles.
